Introduction to the History of Sulu: An Overview

The progress of the state depends on how its nation is socialized to the country's history and the ideology. Sulu history is however presented unfairly in relation to the overall history of the Philippines and treated merely as local history with an insignificant role in the struggle for independence and nation-building. With this historical blur placed upon the historical truth, many common people could no longer see the historical reality.
