Authors: Norman A. Abdurahman

Abstract

Improving the quality of education in Sulu is a great challenge for the local educators especially the top administrators of the DepEd-Sulu. The current state of quality education in the elementary and secondary level is very deplorable. The major factors affecting the quality education are the unstable peace and order condition, the lack of school facilities, poor supervision of the school operation, and the lack of incentives in terms of promotion, recognition, salary increase and other fringe benefits of among committed teachers.
